The Martinez Unified Schools Educational Technology Vision
"The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible."-Arthur C. Clark, “Technology and the Future”
In the 21st century, understanding and using technology will be an integral part of virtually every aspect of daily life. Martinez Unified Schools will transform the current learning model by empowering teachers to collaborate with students, parents and peers to create diverse targeted learning experiences. Through technology, teachers and students will participate in a global learning community where they can access and contribute to a wealth of materials, services, and networks throughout the state, nation, and world. Technology does not replace the teacher, but rather supports and enhances the educational process. We will leverage the open and interactive resources of a globally connected network to provide always-available, sustainable access to instructional technology.
