Computer Aided Drafting 2011 Designer/Drafter – Part 1
Learn CAD terminology, user interface, and command structure. By the end of this section
you will be able to create and edit drawings efficiently using AutoCAD.
Computer Aided Drafting 2011 Designer/Drafter – Part 2
This intermediate level course incorporates the features, commands, and techniques
for becoming more productive when creating, annotating, and printing 2D drawings.
Computer Aided Drafting Designer/Drafter 3d – Part 3
This course provides foundations and practice on creating and modifying 3D models. 3D
models help designers/drafters visualize and present ideas using CAD. Students explore
techniques for creation of solid and surface models. Course topics provide a foundation
for students wishing to take advanced 3D or animation graphics. Prerequisite: CAD
Parts 1 recommended.
Revit Architecture Fundamentals
This course introduces students to Revit for architectural design conceptualization,
visualization, and communication. Learn how to use BIM to manage drawings across
disciplines for increased productivity. Course is an effective primer for professionals in
Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Piping disciplines for advancement to Revit MEP
or Revit Structural. Prerequisite: Basic Computer file management. CAD Part 2D and 3D
recommended.
Revit Architecture BIM
This course builds on Revit Part 1 skills with continued practice on topics such as
families, parameters, construction documents and synchronization. Custom-training
for specific industries is available. Call for information. Prerequisite: Basic Computer file
management. CAD Part 2D and 3D recommended.
The Digital Arts Certificate Program is designed for those interested in pursuing careers in Graphic Design.
Graphic Designers create visual solutions to sell or communicate the concept of a product, campaign or event. Their work includes illustration, typography, posters, packaging, corporate identities, advertising campaigns, web design and digital multimedia. Program emphasis is on creating professional portfolio pieces using Adobe CS software by the end of each course.
Adobe Photoshop Part 1
Adobe Photoshop Part 1 is an introduction to the essentials of using Photoshop tools for
digital image manipulation. Color modes, layers, image resolution and optimization for print and
web media will be explored.
